This policy explains what personal data Get My Windows collects when you ask for a window quote, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. Please read it alongside our cookie policy.

Who we are
Get My Windows ("we", "us", "our") is a quote-matching service that connects UK homeowners with vetted third-party window and door installers. We are the data controller for the information you submit through the enquiry form on this website. We are not the installer; installation is arranged directly between you and your matched installer.
What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form we collect the details you enter and some technical information captured automatically:
- Your contact details: first name, last name, email address and phone number.
- Your location: the postcode you provide, so we can match you with installers who cover your area.
- Your homeowner answer: whether you own the home the enquiry relates to.
- Marketing attribution: the campaign source and related tracking values in the web address you arrived from — for example UTM values (source, medium, campaign, term, content) and advertising click identifiers such as
gclid(Google) andfbclid/fbc/fbp(Meta). - Technical information: the landing page you first arrived on, your browser's user-agent string and your IP address.
How we use your data, and our lawful basis
We use your details to process the enquiry you have made — to match you with a suitable installer and to arrange your free, no-obligation quote and, if you want one, a home survey. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest (and yours) in responding to the request you have made and connecting you with a relevant installer. Marketing attribution data is used to understand which campaigns lead to enquiries and to keep our advertising relevant.
How we will contact you
We (or the installer we match you with) will contact you by telephone, and the contact will be directly related to the application you made — that is, your request for window and door quotes. We may also contact you by email or SMS about the same enquiry. The form carries a visible notice instead of a tick-box: by submitting it you agree that we may contact you in accordance with this policy. We will not use your details for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
To fulfil your request, we may pass your qualified enquiry to a matched installer (for example, our installation partner, Help 2 Buy Windows, or another vetted installer covering your area) so they can contact you about your quote. We may also use trusted service providers who help us operate this website and process enquiries; they act on our instructions and only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as we need it. In practice we retain your details for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised — unless we are required to keep certain records longer to meet a legal or regulatory obligation.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about how we handle your data, contact us through this website or by replying to any email, SMS or call you receive from us in connection with your enquiry. We can also provide a postal address on request. We aim to respond within one month.
